Registration Requirements

New-Buyer

A New Buyer is a customer/company that has not purchased from Euro Auctions in the last 2 years. This includes Bidders who have previously left a deposit with Euro Auctions but did not purchase.

All New-Buyers must provide the following in order to obtain a Bidder Number:

  1. Registration Form – completed and signed by the Bidder
  2. Photographic Identification – at least 1 form (i.e. Driver’s License/Passport/National ID Card)
  3. Letter of Authorisation - from Company Director on headed paper if Bidding on behalf of a company
  4. Company VAT Number
  5. Deposit - 10% of projected spend with a minimum deposit of £10,000/€15,000/$10,000. The minimum deposit allows a maximum spend of £50,000/€50,000/$50,000. Deposit must be received in cleared funds via any of the following methods:
  • E-Payment
  • Cash – Acceptable on Auction day - subject to Money Laundering Regulations (Currencies accepted: Sterling, Euro, Australian Dollars, US Dollars) The XE.com Universal Currency Converter
  • Banker’s Draft – Made payable to Euro Auctions (UK) Ltd./Euro Auctions GmbH/ Euro Auctions AU Ltd
  • Debit Card – Acceptable on Auction day (no transaction fee)
  • Credit Card – Acceptable on Auction day (a 2% non-refundable fee will be charged)
  • Bank Transfer – Must be received before a Bidder Number can be assigned Bank Details 

    (Please note deposits will be returned on Auction day to those customers who have been unsuccessful in their bids. Customers should be aware this may be in the form of a company cheque.)

    Regular-Buyer

    A Regular Buyer is a customer/company that has purchased from Euro Auctions within the last 2 year period.

    All Regular-Buyers must provide the following in order to obtain a Bidder Number:

    1. Registration Form
    2. Photographic Identification – at least 1 form (i.e. Driver’s License/Passport/National ID Card)
    3. Letter of Authorisation - from Company Director on headed paper if Bidding on behalf of a company
    4. Company VAT Number
    5. Deposit – A deposit may be required in the following circumstances:

    The customer/company has not purchased in the last 2 years



    Where a balance remains outstanding from previous Auctions



    Where the projected spend is excessive

    (Please contact the Administration Department in advance of the Auction date to ascertain if deposit is required)
